Covid Vaccine

Whilst we are aware that nationally more information has been rolled out about this, we are not able to arrange anything yet until this goes live in Worcester.  This is currently being set up therefore we don't have any more information.  Please wait until formal invites are rolled out.  This may not be from the Practice but from a different provider.

Flu Clinic

We are aware of the announcement by the Department for Health and Social Care that anyone aged 50-64 has now been added to the eligible cohorts for this year's flu vaccine. We are now working to order additional vaccine supply and plan for more flu clinics.  We ask that patients refrain from ringing the practice with enquiries on this and we will communicate the new arrangements for flu clinics in the near future.

Appointments During COVID-19

Elbury Moor Medical Centre is open.   However, due to the coronavirus outbreak, how you contact us will be different at the moment.  This is to limit face-to-face contact whenever possible and help stop the spread of Coronavirus.

If you need to see your GP, please ring us on 01905 723441 (our opening hours are 8am - 6.30pm) or use the above link for 'Online Consult'.  You can also call NHS 111. 

Please do not come to the surgery unless you have an appointment.

If you are waiting for a check-up, please be assured we will be in touch.

Appointments are being delivered face-to-face, online and over the telephone.  If you are asked to come into the surgery for a face-to-face appointment, please remember to wear a face covering.   Measures are in place to keep you safe from infection during your visit to the surgery.

Beware of Scammers

There is heightened coverage around the recent Coronavirus outbreak around the world, which is now severely impacting on the UK and the NHS.

Unfortunately fraudsters are targeting these circumstances to take advantage of public fear and concern.

We have been made aware that our patients are receiving phone calls., texts and letters from fraudsters.  They will try and obtain your personal details and in particular your NHS number.

Scammers are sophisticated, opportunistic and will try many ways to get the information they want.  They often target the vulnerable.

If you are suspicious, do not give any details over the phone, hang up and then ring your GP Practice to confirm. 

MJOG Messenger

We are using MJog Messenger to communicate with our Patients for appointment reminders, Friends & Family questionnaire, to promote health campaigns etc.  Please download the app to your smart phone and respond at the click of a button.  

Healthy Minds Wellbeing Hub

Worcestershire Wellbeing Hub is an information and signposting  service for people  over the age of 16 years  who are experiencing low mood,  anxiety or stress, and feel that they would benefit from some support.  You can visit the Wellbeing Hub by clicking here .

Pharmacy 2 U

It has come to our attention that the organisation 'Pharmacy 2 U' has used the Practice's name on its marketing material.  Please note, the Practice does not utilise, promote, engage with or otherwise have any dealings with Pharmacy 2 U and, furthermore, has not given nor has been asked for, consent for the Practice name to appear on any marketing material.  

  

PHYSIOTHERAPY SELF-REFERRAL  Did you know that you can now visit the self-help website at www.hacw.nhs.uk/movetoimprove.  If after visiting this website you still require further support, please complete the electronic self-referral form available on the site.

 Please ask at Reception for further information.   

  CQC REPORT

The Care Quality Commission has issued an inspection report following a structured telephone call on 8th May 2019 and a site visit on 17th October 2019.  For further details please see 'patient information leaflets & fees' under 'Further Information' on the right hand side of this page.

All our patients have a named GP but you can still see any Doctor or Nurse at the practice.
